Lower cost, more functionality, better customer portal — and the migration was completely done for us.

01 — The challenge

Challenge

TryMoin had been running their subscription program on Recharge for years — coffee concentrate sold into a recurring customer base big enough that any migration would normally mean weeks of internal project work, broken billing cycles, and a wave of confused-customer support tickets. The team's main worry about moving wasn't the cost saving or the functionality on offer — it was the size of the lift on their side.

02 — The solution

Solution

Zubs ran the migration as a single switchover window with no rebuild required on the merchant side. Active subscriptions moved across, billing schedules continued without interruption. The TryMoin team didn't write code, didn't reconcile spreadsheets, and didn't field a wave of confused customer emails — Zubs handled the operational lift end-to-end.

After migration, the storefront moved to Zubs' customizable subscription widget across every product page, and the customer portal absorbed the small everyday changes (skip a delivery, swap a flavour) that previously turned into support tickets.

Results

TryMoin came out of the migration with more product functionality and a customer subscription portal that has reduced inbound subscription-management questions. The team's stance after the dust settled: they want to spend a real product month actually building out the program, because the platform is no longer the bottleneck.

"

"Lower costs and more functionality, plus a better dashboard for customers to manage their subscriptions. My biggest concern beforehand was that the migration would be a lot of work — it turned out to be no work at all on our side, fully done-for-you. So far, very satisfied."
